Baby Poncho (2-18-00)

I created this for a friend that was getting ready to have a baby. She remembered something that she had as a child. She didn't crochet and could only go from memory of what it had looked like. Over the phone, she described it to me. I came up with the below pattern and she loved it. Said it was identical to the one she had as a child.
